Announced this week as a new holiday offering, the Xbox Series S starter bundle comes with the console, its Xbox wireless controller, and a three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. (That unlocks access to the Xbox Game Pass library of over 100 titles as well as online multiplayer, day one releases, exclusive discounts, and a free EA Play membership.) It’s a $349.98 combined value, but you’ll pay just $299.99, or the going price of the Series S itself. Preorders are available at Amazon, Best Buy, and in the Microsoft Store ahead of its official release on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Why we like it
The latest version of the Series S features a slick Carbon Black finish and 1TB of storage (or twice as much as the original Robot White model). It’s up for grabs for just $319.99 at Dell, which appears to be a new record-low price.

Why we like it
The Microsoft Store’s refurbished Series S is currently the cheapest Xbox console in town. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it’s been tested and closely inspected for any major cosmetic flaws.
