In early October, Kobo, the maker of our favorite e-readers including the Clara Colour and Libra Colour, announced that it was launching a remote, compatible with all of its e-readers. The new remote’s launch date was pushed back from Nov. 4 to Dec. 2, and now it’s finally here.
The Kobo Remote pairs with Kobo e-readers via Bluetooth, allowing users to turn the page with the remote rather than on the e-reader. It has an ergonomic design so your head doesn’t get stuck in an uncomfortable cramp during your reading marathon. The remote retails for $29.99 and comes in either black or white.
This accessory comes with the rising popularity of remote page turners on TikTok. Kobo even beat e-reader giant Amazon to the punch, as there’s no native remote sold for Kindles.
